  • A midwestern family planning funder came to us at a moment of transition—they were ready to look ahead but needed help defining where they were going and how to present themselves along the way.

    We started by bringing their leadership and board together for a two-day strategic retreat to chart a five-year vision—a “north star” to guide their future. From there, we facilitated a working group of staff and board members to refresh the organization’s mission, vision, and values to better reflect their evolving work and impact.

    With that strong foundation in place, we project-managed the full rebranding process—from selecting and overseeing a marketing firm to managing timelines and budgets. We helped guide the team through brand visioning and decision-making, ensuring the final result felt true to who they are and where they’re headed.

  • We supported a Texas based reproductive health organization through the transition of their senior communications staff and assisted them in finding, placing, and onboarding their new senior Communications Director. 

    We stepped in to manage day-to-day communications functions, including social media, messaging, digital outreach, and media coordination, so the organization could stay visible and engaged while they searched for their next hire.

    At the same time, we oversaw the recruitment and hiring process for a new senior communications director, and once they were hired, we supported a smooth onboarding process. Over 30 days, we worked closely with the new team member to help them get up to speed and feel confident stepping into their new role.

  • A sexual health education agency in a southern state reached out after their staff began facing escalating backlash while working in rural communities. Their frontline educators needed tools and support to navigate these challenging situations safely and effectively.

    We designed a customized, interactive two-hour training that focused on de-escalation strategies, messaging approaches, peer support, and how to avoid engaging with bad actors. Delivered virtually to 45 staff members across the state, the session gave their team practical tools and a shared language for facing difficult interactions.

    Beyond the training, we helped the organization implement ongoing support strategies to ensure their educators felt prepared, protected, and connected as they continued their important work.
